Rachel Snider
Principal Dancer and Assistant Director from Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, who moved to Philadelphia in 2016. Trained in ballet, modern, hip hop, locking, house, and breaking, she has studied under Marcus Tucker for eight years and is a core member of The Hood Lockers and Hood Nation. An alumna of Jacob’s Pillow’s Social Dances program, Rachel is also a dedicated educator and has been a core member of Rennie Harris Puremovement since 2022.
MARGUERITE WALLER
Principal Dancer and Administrative & Logistics Manager from Phoenix, Arizona. A choreographer, teaching artist, and graduate of Arizona State University, her work blends hip hop, waacking, house, locking, breaking, contemporary, and tap. Now based in Brooklyn, she is an award-winning artist and a Principal Dancer with Rennie Harris Puremovement.
Angel Anderson
is a Chicago-born interdisciplinary artist, scholar, and archivist whose work centers Black storytelling, street and club dance, and contemporary Africanist movement. A Principal Dancer with Rennie Harris Puremovement, she is currently an MFA candidate at University of Colorado, focusing on the preservation of African Diasporic dance histories.
Zakhele Grabowsi (Swazi)
Principal dancer; is a competitive Breaker, Tap dancer, and musician. Originally from Eswatini, he is now based in NYC. Swazi is a Dynamic Rocker, a member of Olympic Teen Team USA, and will be representing the USA in Slovenia in May, at the Kidz World Breaking Championships. He is delighted and honoured to be performing with Rennie Harris Puremovement.
Tyreis Hunte
Associate Dancer; is a Creole Amazônido world creator, dancer, and cultural artist from Guyana, South America, raised as a global artistic nomad. A Davis World Scholar and graduate of St. Olaf College, they hold a B.A. with Distinction in Dance and Asian Studies and have trained through the Rennie Harris University Hip Hop Certification Program and Istituto di Moda Burgo. Their work explores street culture, contemporary Black expression, and movement-based community engagement. Tyreis has earned their MFA in Dance at University of Colorado Boulder.
Roukijah Rooks (NutellaK)
Associate Dancer; is an interdisciplinary dance artist, educator, and choreographer. A graduate of University of the Arts, she holds a BFA in Dance and an Associate degree in Business. Trained in hip hop, African, ballet, contemporary, and modern dance, she has worked with artists including Ronald K. Brown and Sidra Bell. Her choreographic work, presented throughout Philadelphia and New York City, explores and challenges societal norms through both traditional and experimental performance settings.
Miyeko Urvashi Rennie Harris
Apprentice dancer; born in Philadelphia, began training in Austin, Texas, at the age of eight. She later returned to Philadelphia and began her pre-professional training at the Koresh School of Dance, where she trained under Melissa Rector, Roni Koresh, and Eva Szabo. Most recently, she performed with MauraTownsend Dance in the Los Angeles Dance Festival at the Luckman Theatre. Harris is in her second year of college at California State University Los Angeles. She is excited to be performing with RHPM and looks forward to this next chapter in her life.
Genesis Castaneda
Apprentice dancer; Genesis is a Cuban-American dancer born and raised in Miami, Florida. Genesis earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of the Arts. Genesis specializes in street dance forms and social dances, drawing inspiration from her diverse cultural background. Genesis is an active member of the dance community, performing with acclaimed choreographer Rennie Harris and contributing her talents to Carne Viva Dance Theatre. Her performances blend tradition with contemporary expression, reflecting her dedication to artistic innovation and cultural storytelling.
Joshua Archibald (butterfly.god)
Apprentice dancer; a Jamaican-born, Miami-based multidisciplinary artist whose work explores spiritual and esoteric themes. Raised in a musical and Christian household, his creative practice is informed by dance, music, theatre, and engineering. He received his ballet and contemporary training at Miami Dade College under Michelle Grant-Murray, while also independently training in hip hop and street styles. Currently, Joshua is focused on developing his own movement language as the foundation for future creative works.
